David Hawkins Posted February 6, 2009 Report Share Posted February 6, 2009 OK….I have said this before and I still believe it: If they want to Jump Start the Economy, DON’T give the Money to Businesses. There are just over 303,000,000 US Citizens. The Economy can be fixed for less then $350,000,000.00 simply by Giving each US Citizen that is 28 Years of Age or older, and can Prove the have been a US Citizen for at least 20 Years, a special Checking Account that has $1,000,000.00 in it. BUT they personally can’t access it. Each Month, they receive a Check for $3,333.00 but it is issued just like a Pay Check so Taxes are deducted. The Government not only gets to Tax each Payment, they also get to keep the Interest that each Checking Account Earns. Now for some Rules that MUST be followed to receive the Money. If you commit a Felony you Loose the Account, it goes back to the Government. If you Die, $15,000.00 is taken out to pay for your Funeral Expenses and the rest of the Account goes back to the Government. The Checking Accounts are NOT meant to replace your Jobs but to enhance your Income so you can Buy things that you need with out having to do with out. Doing it this way, the Businesses will eventually get the Money. If they give it Businesses, they will only spend it with other Businesses and the People will still be where they are, Poor and unemployed. Population: 303,824,640 (July 2008 est.) Age structure: 0-14 years: 20.1% (male 31,257,108/female 29,889,645) 15-64 years: 67.1% (male 101,825,901/female 102,161,823) 65 years and over: 12.7% (male 16,263,255/female 22,426,914) (2008 est.) 2007GT Posted February 6, 2009 Report Share Posted February 6, 2009 You would think that if you wanted to stimulate the economy, and had to write a bill to do it, that you would sit down and come up with things that were stimulative and then put them into the bill one at a time until the bill had all the required elements. Whatever the number was at the end of the process is the size of the bill. In this case they have simply put the kitchen sink in there (most of which is NOT stimulative) and they are trying to eliminate "about 100 billion dollars" to get it down to 800 billion dollars. Where did this ridiculous arbitrary 800 billion dollar figure come from? Obama, that's where. He said the bill needs to be at least 800 billion dollars. Why? I doubt if even he could tell you. They would NOT be allowed to tack on ANY extras on a Bill, each Bill will be for a single item. PLUS: Just to name a few things................. TAXES: Progressive FLAT Federal Tax: Earn Less then $30,000.00 a Year, Pay NO Tax. Earn $30,000.00 to $49,999.00 a Year, Pay 5% Tax. Earn $50,000.00 to $74,999.00 a Year, Pay 10% Tax. Earn $75,000.00 to $99,999.00 a Year, Pay 15% Tax. Earn $100,000.00 to $149,999.00 a Year, Pay 20% Tax. Earn $150,000.00 to $199,999.00 a Year, Pay 25% Tax. Earn $200,000.00 to $499,999.00 a Year, Pay 28% Tax. Earn $500,000.00 or More a Year, Pay 30% Tax. State Tax: Everyone Pays $10% Tax on all Goods except Tobacco and Alcohol Products. Taxes on all Tobacco and Alcohol Products will be 20%. You must be at least 21 to purchase any Alcohol Product. You must be at least 18 to purchase any Tobacco Product. Since most Churches & Charities are a Business, they will no longer be Tax Exempt on Purchases of any Goods. OTHER STUFF: There will be fewer Congressman from each State. All Federally Owned Roads, Streets, Highways and Interstates travelled on by the general public, will be transferred to the Cities and Counties they are in. We do NOT Import from Countries that we do not Export to. Countries wanting the USA to Export to them can not Charge us more then 10% Import Tax. Countries wishing to Export into the USA must Pay 10% Import Tax. Countries found Exporting Tainted/Defected Goods into the USA must Recall all Items, paying Retail Sold Prices if the item was sold, or face Suspension of Importing and a Huge Fine before Importing can be reinstated. Only USA Citizens will be allowed to Own Property in the USA. English will be Mandated to be spoken in the USA. Everyone MUST allow them selves to be Finger Printed before Getting or Renewing a Drivers License and those Prints will be put in the FBI Data banks. DNA Tests will be performed on Everyone Arrested and the results put in the FBI Data Banks. Inmates serving 3 Years or less will be charged $2.00 a Day Incarceration Fee. Anyone, including those already incarcerated, charged just with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and/or Possession of Drugs for Personal Use will be Given a $500.00 Fine and Released. Anyone, including those already incarcerated, charged with Prostitution or Soliciting Prostitution will be given a $300.00 Fine and Released. Anyone caught Prostituting will be tested for HIV/AIDS, if they have it, they will be charged with Attempted Murder. If they have other STD’s they will be charged with Assault. Speeding Tickets must be Paid with in 20 Days or the Fine will increase by 5% a Day for every Day it is Late even if you are contesting it in Court. Anyone caught “Driving Under the Influence” will Automatically loose their License for 3 Months and receive a $1,000.00 Ticket on their First Offence. 6 Months License Suspension, a $2,000.00 Ticket and 100 Hours of Picking Up Trash on the Side of the Road on their Second Offence. 12 Months License Suspension, a $3,000.00 Ticket, 350 Hours of Picking Up Trash on the Side of the Road and Pass a Substance Abuse Course on their Third Offence. 1 Year in Jail, 36 Months License Suspension a $5,000.00 Ticket, 500 Hours of Picking Up Trash on the Side of the Road and Pass a Substance Abuse Course on their Forth Offence. Anyone caught aiding a person from Law Enforcement Officers (helping to Hide or Escape) will be charged with “Accessory After The Fact” to the same Crimes the Person they are helping is being charged with. Anyone caught buying any Tobacco and Alcohol Products for anyone under 21 Years of Age will receive a $1,000.00 Fine and 150 Hours of picking up Trash on the Side of the Road for a First offence and it Doubles on a Second Offence. Private or Charter Schools will NOT receive any Federal or State Funds. Vouchers will NOT be given to anyone. Teachers must PASS an extensive Test every Year, to maintain their Teaching Certificate for the State they are Teaching in. If you are Trespassing on someone’s Property and you are Injured, the Property Owners are NOT and can NOT be held Liable but, if you Damage anything on said Property, you ARE Liable for Damages.
