Go Steelers! Go Steelers! Go Steelers!

Recommended Posts

Even though I grew up in NJ, I was born just east of Pittburgh and my whole family from the area. I already have my jersey, hat, beer stein and other goodies polished up for Feb. 1st. I'm working the menu but haven't decided what to make yet.

GO STEELERS :happy feet: :happy feet: :yahoo: :beerchug: :cheerleader::party: :party2: :party2:

I grew up in the 70s. You were either a steelers fan or cowboys fan. I was a cowboys fan. I HATE THE STEELERS!

Sorry because I like Big Ben, but just CANT pull for them.

+1. I grew up a Cowboys fan also and never really liked the Steelers. I have tremendous respect for Big Ben; even though other QBs may have better stats, he is a great leader and finds a way to get the job done in clutch situations.

I'm happy for Kurt Warner. His carreer seemed almost over when he was dumped by the Giants to make room for Eli. He's now proving many people wrong. Also glad for Larry Fitzgerald who finally has the opportunity to show the world how great a receiver he is.

GO CARDS!!! :happy feet: :happy feet:

when I met Dale...her email was greeneyes32........the 32 for Franco.

I have pictures of her with his helmet at the Smithsonian in Washington DC.

Her Dad was a Newark cop, but her grandfather and great grandfather were miners

in Pittsburgh..........

I am surprising her with an authentic Franco jersey for the game.

GO STEELERS!

I will have to go with Kurt Warner and the Arizona Cardinals. He is a really neat guy.

I used to live across the street from Curt when he was playing for the Des Moines Barn Stormers (Arena Football) back in the late 1990's. It was fun cheering him on as he had the chance him try out and make the Rams.

He had just purchased the house across the street before he proposed to Brenda. Some of his friends came by to decorate the house and asked if I could keep the bottle of Champain in my refrigerator because there was not one in the house yet. That's when I first met him.

Right after he made the Rams I saw him one summer day at home on the front porch fixing a hole in an inflatable swimming pool for his kids. Just a down to earth guy. This was before he moved to St Louis.

He lives to help kids and God.

GO Cardinals.

Just to clarify one point. I sure hope for the Cards that Kurt Warner, not Curt Warner plays Quarterback on February 1st. I sure wouldn't trust an old running back to lead the Cards offense on the most important game of the year. :hysterical:

I've got a feeling that it doesn't matter who's tossing the ball for the Cards at this game.

Either way, Pittsburgh will win 136-6. Bet the farm on it. ;)
