Here you can see the new motor. Looks like there is no room for a pulley change as the snout is nearly as big as the id of the pulley. Lower pulley can't be bigger because of interference with the crank position sensor.

Word is that the aftermarket is already working on fixing this. Probably with a new snout I would guess. It was being discussed on svt performance. One of the guys seems to have an inside track on these things, as he stated long ago that it wasn't going to be easy to up the boost on this car. I'll take the car just like it is though. It will easily be the fastest thing I've ever owned.

Is this not the same type of blower as on the 03/04 Cobras? If so can we not change the snout to an 03/04 sout and then shrink the pulley?

 

 

Who knows, but I don't think so. This blower has 10 more cubes. Probably the housing is a little bit bigger and therefore the snout too. Anybody who can chime in on this.
