The "Wheels" Thread

Thanks! The wheels are Saleen and they came on the very limited Dark Horse. But now they are going to be put on the newer Saleen. Damn, Saleen for messing that up! LOL

good looking wheel but will not fit the 2010 GT500, plus saleen is bankrupt and wheels are discontinued, no warranty.

Can anyone confirm the fact that any 20" rim will fit the GT500? Considering the brembo brakes up front.

It's more about the offset and spoke design than the diameter of the rim when getting a rim to fit the bigger brakes... it's definitely not just "any" 20" wheel though.

2010 OEM Wheels on My GT 500's. Unfortunately. the offers get the best of me, and I sold them for 3k + stockers! Here come the Aloca's! But when prices come down, I will get another set. BTW, these are completely different then the knockoff's being made. Choose wisely...

I've been looking for some aftermarket wheels for some time but haven't really seen what I like yet. The 20" Razors in Chrome look nice but they don't make a wider wheel than 9" for the back.

It'd be nice to make a sticky so everyone can post picks of their rides with custom wheels? That way we don't have to search thousand's of threads just looking for wheel pics!

Bought these yesterday.. Just installed. $600 shipped sweet looking 2010 wheels.

Check em out..happy%20feet.gif

Just curious what is wrong / the knock offs? I bought a set. They are light, strong, balanced.. Just wondering if there's something I need to look out for?

I have beeen pricing the Nitto Invo's mounted, balance and tax. The best price I found in my area at this point is $1107.88 and Discount Tire is at $902, free shipping and local dealer mounting costs $25 per wheel = $1057.11 with tax. Are there better deals out there?

For Continental Extreme contact DWS I was quoted $814.39.

2) 285/30/20

2) 255/35/20

I don't remember the mounted/balanced price I paid locally, but the General exclaim UHP's I have are $580 a set at tire rack.com... same sizes, except 295's out back... only about 600 miles on them so far, but they seem to be a nice tire for the price.

Those look great like the fact they are 9.5 in front instead of 9. What type tires are you running?

I'm running the Toyo T1R's up front. I was running them in the back but now I'm using the

Toyo R888's in 315/30. Great tire/IMHO

Side note- I'm selling my 305's (T1R's-with under 500 miles on them.) $450+ $50 for shipping :salute:

Here's a few shots of the forged Foose wheels I had made...There are few choices that clear the Brembo's up front and give the backspacing to give that aggressive vintage look! What do you think?

Those wheels look good. Nice stance...I went with the Foose Forged 3 Peice...I searched for months and finally broke down and had these custom made. Took 4 weeks but worth the wait. 20x9 up front and 20x10 in the rear. Stock size width to keep the same overall height and width. The car has almost no body roll...check them out!

What size ET are you running in the rear...also is you ride lowered? If so how much...I'm looking for a set of ETs but not sure what size to run...Dyno'd at 630 rwhp and trying to squeeze the biggest tire on a 15" wheel that will fit without having to do any tub mods.
