tispco
I just bought GT-H 06H254. It is in great condition and has 9,800 miles on it. It was in the Hertz rental fleet in Orlando for eight months and then auctioned off in February of 2007. A Ford dealer bought it, stored it indoors, and only added about 50 miles to it until I bought it today. The title was open, so I will be the first private owner. Very cool!! I am really excited to finally own a Shelby. I can't believe it is in the garage!!! :happy feet:

sireal66
Congratulations. Remember to register with Shelby and contact Hertz for their packet. Nice low miles. Info for Hertz is on GTH site. What is the "Hertz Package"? I searched the GTH site but could not find any info. Who do I contact at Hertz and what does the package contain. I contacted SAI and they are sending me the dash plaque, is this the same as the Hertz package? Any info on owner’s package from SAI or Hertz is greatly appreciated Rich
tispco
I attached a few more pics from the dealership, on my way home, and in the garage. I love pulling up to the house and opening the garage door to see two Mustangs there!! I registered with SAI, sent my visor to be signed by Mr. Shelby, and sent an e-mail to Steve at Hertz. BTW Rich, his e-mail address is SFleske@Hertz.com. He has documentation on many of the GT-H's and has sent it to several owners -- Window Sticker, Shelby Invoice, Certificate of Origin, etc. I am hoping he has documents for my GT-H. There are a few threads in this section on it. Thank you everyone for all the comments
HARALD KELLEY
Yes, the Hertz package (information) is different from SAI. If you registered with SAI, you will get the high speed plastic alloy plaque and other goodies like a certificate from Shelby signed by the Exec Team. Steve from Hertz will send documentation such as window sticker etc as long as no one else has requested the info. If you are the first private owner you should be good to go. Steve is very timely if you email him.

RedStang88
Hey Tispco! How is that GT-H running? When we were in Florida, Naples for a vacation, I was surprised at the nunber of GT-H's that I saw----5 all verts. At one point I saw two parked in the same shopping center/mall. Here's one of them:
tispco
Finally had some time to detail and make a few changes to the GT-H. I added the GT-H caps under the hood and cleaned it up. I also added a few billet pieces and Shelby GT-H floormats on the inside. The big change was swapping out the wheels / tires and adding adjustable strut mounts. The inside edges on the front tires were worn, so I decided to swap them out and have the car aligned to eliminate the issue. I saved the original wheels and tires. I got a great deal on a set of new FRPP black 18" bullitts from Roush and I had the tires in storage from my 'vert. I liked the idea of swapping to these wheels because it is the same wheel as on the '07 GT-H. I am guessing if this wheel was available at the time, it would have been used on the '06 GT-H's. I also added a set of Shelby center caps. I'm done with this one. I want to keep it fairly close to original.

tispco
Made some changes in my garage. I had seven cars and one driver at the beginning of the summer. I decided I had to shrink the collection a bit. It was a tough decision, but I sold my 97 Wrangler and my 07 Mustang GT convertible. I took a lot of parts off the convertible before I sold it (I still have the Whipple and GT500 Brembo's if anyone is interested). I decided to put the CS69's on my GT-H. I was surprised the difference it made. The CS69's with the stickier and bigger Goodyears seemed to wake up the Ford Racing suspension and I swear the ride improved as well. Anyways, I am happy with the change. I am missing the convertible, but the Boss is an incredible car.

HARALD KELLEY
Tispco, I also have CS 69s. See signature. I thought they were a modern version of the magnum wheels. Looks great and enjoy.
