GT500-07
Well, now it's official: we're in a recession. And we know when it began: December 2007, according to the official arbiter of business cycles, the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), which made the announcement Monday. So now the question is: When will it end, and how deep will it get? http://finance.yahoo.com/banking-budgeting...-Recession-Last?

It will get much deeper and it will last about 10-15 years if it ends at all. In about 12-18 months we should start to see hyperinflation.

HSURB
It will get much deeper and it will last about 10-15 years if it ends at all. In about 12-18 months we should start to see hyperinflation. For those that bought homes that were completely out of their price range, and then simply lived off the increase in property value, never gaining any equity, I hope it lasts longer than 10-15 years for them. It needs to be a tough lesson learned. If you lived within your means and managed your money, it really isn't that bad right now. GT500-07
Barack Obama says economy to get worse before it gets better "We've got to provide a blood infusion to the patient right now to make sure that the patient is stabilized. And that means that we can't worry short term about the deficit. We've got to make sure that the economic stimulus plan is large enough to get the economy moving," he said. http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/081207/obama.html
