It is an alloy coupe with Satin Silver stripes. I am going to go pick it up next week in Illinois. I have a feeling this will be the longest week of my life. Here are a couple of the better pictures. BTW...I used to live in the city, and then up in Arvada. I am not really sure how far that is from Chicago but it looks to be about in the middle of nowhere. At least 100 miles from any big city. I plan to be there a week from Saturday. If there is anyone who wants to get together an compare cars that sounds great. We are taking it home on a trailer but i definitly have to put some miles on it before we load her up. The alloy/silver is nice, I tossed a coin 100times between this and GO. PS- Check your front spoiler for damage, especially if they did not use the long ramps off that truck. I would love to get all sorts of toys while I'm out there but I don't really know where to start. I think for now I'll probably just leave it stock until I drive it around a while and see what I think needs upgrading. Thanks for the offer of assistance. I may be in touch. venom07 Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 OK, She is home!!! It was a long road trip from Colorado to Illinois but it was worth it. The whole experience was awsome. The car is everything I was expecting and more. It is still dirty from some driving we did after picking it up in IL so I'll post more pics when I get her clean. My only regret is that I drove it in IL and after bringing it to Colorado there is a noticable drop in HP at altitude. I might be imagining it but I don't think so. In IL the speed of the car actually scared me a little. The valet setting was still on when I picked it up and when the SC finally kicked in I just about went in a ditch. The jump in power was incredible. At first I was thinking "OK, it is fast but not crazy fast." and after the valet setting turned off I just giggled like a school girl. I heard that there is a Shelby clinic that you could check yourself into, and by overdosing on all the products; it cures you. The clinic opens up after SEMA. Good luck with your problem.
