Also, I voted for McCain, and not Obama, in order to move this country forward; I am shocked that you would think that a free American must agree with Obama or any other politician if he chooses not to. We do not live in a dictatorship. Supporting President Elect Obama to move the country forward does not mean you have to agree with everything he will do. McCain knows a new President needs the support of all Americans to give the country a chance to move forward. You, however apparently do not know this yet. Z. He received 220 blood transfusions over 3 years. $2000.00 per. No cost to him. His final experience was a bone marrow transplant- approximate cost $750,000. No cost to him. I lived 10 years in the U.S. I experienced your health system. Received a severe burns boiling out a defective broiler while working at a Long John Silvers, age 16. Spent 7 hours in emergency waiting for treatment. Finally went into shock and almost lost my life. Spent weeks treating my burns. The bill was over $25,000. Thank goodness LJS paid the bill. Brother Bill collapsed one day on base. They exrayed his knee. Navy doctor decided he needed his leg amputated but required my fathers permission. He refused. Turned out they had the wrong x-rays. He actually had fragments of a fracture his knee received as a youth lodged in a nerve. They removed them and he was fine. Lets talk dentistry. It only took 2 trips to the hospital for the Dentist to realize ALERGIC means ALERGIC. Anapholatic shook, adrenaline in the heart to save my life. Dentist lost his license a few years later. I'll stay in Canada thanks. Nobody in their right mind would give up U.S. Citizenship. The United States is the greatest country in the world. I can't think of a worse person to lead our country, and I'll never understand why he got the number of votes he got. He: Has little to no experience Associates with criminals and terrorists Promotes abortion and will sign the Freedom of Choice Act Will fill the Supreme Court with liberal, leftist judges Has never been fully vetted Associates with socialists and marxists Promotes socialism Will hurt small businesses Wants to negotiate with terrorists and enemies w/out preconditions Wants to raise our taxes Wants to increase the size of government Willl enact a socialistic health care plan (more taxes, more government control) Has an extremely oversized ego Have I left anything out? I guarantee you that at least 50% of the people who voted for him don't know about the above. They just wanted "change". Well, they're going to get it!!! Obama will never have my support unless he changes his tune about a lot of the above issues which are critical to me. In the meantime, all we can do is plan and work to oust this guy in 2012, if he doesn't get impreached before then! WOW! Now that he is going to be the POTUS we must support him when he makes good decisions and fight him when he doesn't. Remember Clinton? We have to do the same thing and regroup. Too bad there are so many "Republicans" in congress with no testicles. Let's find those who still have there's and send them money and start feeding the machine so we can take this country back as soon as possible. Another solid reminder of why we need to begin to act: It only took 8 years of that gutless wonder Clinton to get attacked on our own soil. When you are weak you get attacked. stump_breaker Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 do not be that pessimistic....i do believe in the check and balance in this country (and am one who came from abroad so i can see it in a little bit different angle) and i think the system on which this country was founded is so strong and powerful that it will correct veers that are too steep...it will allow room for difference but will not allow derailing. it proven itself in the past and i think it will prove it in the future.
