ColoradoShelbyGT
Hey everyone, Here's a low key event at Pikes Peak International Raceway on October 26th. The following info was forwarded to the Rocky Mountain Mustangers Club. Sounds like alot of fun, so I am going to try and do it. If you haven't autocrossed your Shelby, now is the time to do it! Anyone else interested? PPIR has been closed now for a number of years and this is the first event being held there in a long time. I believe eventually the whole complex is going to be converted into a real estate development with high end homes where you can keep and run your car on the track. MoTheDigitalDiva
Did you make it to this event Wes? I'm bummed that I missed it. I've been so busy I haven't logged on in weeks and this is what happens to me. From now on, I need to log on at least once a week!
ColoradoShelbyGT
It was a good time! There were about 25 cars so everyone got a chance to run alot if they wanted to. A number of Mustangs were there as well as Miata's, S2000's, some Vettes, etc. I was the only Shelby. The weather was great as well. If you haven't tried autocrossing, give it a try -- it's alot of fun!
