Gerry Chase 1128
CNN reported this morning that Goodyear workers were on strike. Since the GT500 uses the Goodyear F1 Supercar tires, will this delay GT500 production? Hopefully Goodyear has thousands of these tires warehoused somewhere. ELITE 1
Why not, add another delay to building my GT500!!!!!!! I should get mine by the time I am old enough to go through my mid life crisis, 35 now.
red07shelby
I would say if Ford has announced a build of 9,000 cars then they already have plenty of tires to fulfill that. But then again Ford has told us a bagfull of things that haven't come true so far! Well thats it!!! I give up,I'll never see this f-n car!!!! RUFDRAFT
At the risk of sounding negative - I don't see Ford stockpiling tires. Something about that "just in time" concept. I'm sure Goodyear has a supply - and Ford could easily change brands.
