dragpack70
Where can I find an OEM-style (3-finger Long-style) pressure plate, clutch disk and throw-out bearing for my 1970 Mach I 428 SCJ? My searches over the years have not turned up anything other than kits for the smaller V8's, or more modern pressure plate configurations that require machining the flywheel in some fashion. I know the original clutches were very durable, but surely somebody makes a replacement, as they can't all have lasted 38 years.
robertlane
I purchased a center force for my SCJ. That was back in 1998.
dragpack70
The Centerforce kits talk about having to machine the flywheel and change the clutch linkage return spring arrangements. Did you have to do either or both? My SCJ is externally balanced using the flywheel (11 1/2" clutch), and I would really prefer an OEM-style replacement if I can find one.
