RUFDRAFT
Today, my Ford Tech Crew Chief, George, was fine tuning my recalibration for the speedo after the gear change. He took the car out with his laptop plugged in. He comes back and says my car was only getting 35% throttle in 1st gear - and 80% in 2nd and 3rd - based on the readouts. He thinks Ford built in some preventative break-in protocols to prevent drivetrain issues on new GT's. He's researching this this evening. Anyone else heard of this? My Shelby acted similarly until I got about 500 miles on it.
BillyG
The book says it's in till the first 5 consecutive miles or first 50 starts. I thought that was kind of ridiculous to put that in there for such a short time if you're gonna put a break in at all, so it wouldn't suprise me if there is another longer one.
