BanditSRT8
Ok, it is really driving me nuts now. The supercharger belt used to only squeal from slippage when I was romping on it. Now it does it about 80% of the time I am shifting. I thought I read somewhere that folks have switched to a different brand belt and this problem went away... please enlighten me because I cannot find that post now! I especially want this gone before my mods arrive next week.
ingram4868
I would think Ford would to able to check the tension and fix it under warranty.
mrfarmdog
First tell us what supercharger config you have. Is it stock? I have had belt issues since my rebuild when I installed the IW 10% pulley. You can replace the belt and it will go away for a while but there are other issues that need to be addressed so it does not come back
BanditSRT8
Right now I'm all stock. I thought I read here that people would have their tension checked, but the squeal persisted, and they switched to a certain brand of belt and the problem went away. Son of GT
Try going with a Goodyear Gatorback belt.

You shouldn't have any squeal being 100% stock. Take it to your dealer (aren't you near Tousley??) and have them fix it under warranty. I have the Evo Stage 2 and have no squeal. Boss Doctor
No squeal here either, and I have a 2.7" pulley with a larger idler pulley.
