shelbymotorsports
Would be a great car for someone to modify into a high performance track car. Steve
stump_breaker
The hood doesn't look too bad. Wish they were closer to me because I'd love to get it assuming they would part it out.

2007shelbyGT500
It's sad to see when one of the ponies is put down but it's a great red flag in the registry for car # 119 is a salvage car. Someone can't buy it and change all of the tags over and make a clone and pass it off as a real one if it is listed in the registry as such. Hopefully someone interested in buying it down the road checks with SAI before they buy!
tekheavy
The odometer still works?? I can't believe they didn't disconnect the battery after a wreck like that.

winkyinc
great point Does anyone find it odd that in the photos of the outside there are NO gold stripes anywhere?
tekheavy
Does anyone find it odd that in the photos of the outside there are NO gold stripes anywhere? I see the stripes. Think the reflected light makes it hard to see them, but there there. No side stripes though.
HARALD KELLEY
I see the stripes. Think the reflected light makes it hard to see them, but there there. No side stripes though. I only see the glue, stripes appaer to have been removed, just an outline. Could be wrong.

GT-H #387
Does anyone find it odd that in the photos of the outside there are NO gold stripes anywhere? I noticed that right away also. Only the glue was left behind. I wonder why and who removed them? Very interesting to say the least. Bryan
robertlane
I have asked that this be noted in the SAI registry. Thanks for pointing it out.
shelbymotorsports
Stripes have been removed, and only the glue remains. Strange, isn't it? This is a weird one. If you look at the front bumper you can see where they missed about a 1/4" of the stripe. But more importantly if you look at the hood photo you can see the florescent lights reflection in the "missing" stripe so my opinion is that the stripes are still there and that the gold color was painted over with a dark gray or black paint. If that was stripe glue residue you wouldn't be able to see such a shiney reflection of the lights. This would explain the 1/4" gold still showing on the front bumper where the grille covered it. My guess is the previous owner was going for a stealth look and just didn't like the bright gold stripes. Steve
one_quik_pony
I wonder if it is a theft recovery... Possibly had the stripes painted over to attract less attention. Just a thought.
