I don't understand why dealers insist on calling the Shelby GT a GT350. It doesn't make any sense. No where on any paperwork does it say GT350. WTF? Morons. It was stated very accurately in the 2007 Shelby Annual Magazine that when anyone over the age of 40 sees the Shelby GT they are immediately reminded of the Shelby GT 350. In fact the magazine goes on to say that the car was built using the same recipe as the GT 350. I talked to a dealer for 45 minutes in North Carolina who repeatedly called the car a GT 350 and he drove up in 67 Mustang. An overseas military car sales dealer told me it was a Shelby Cobra, not a GT 500 as well... Go figure. Albeit incorrect, I can see why it gets tagged a GT 350 or Shelby Cobra.
