When you see a Grabber Orange SGT Does that mean it is one of 216? Thanks Leroy
Matts
Are all 2008 Grabber Orange SGT's The C-Model? When you see a Grabber Orange SGT Does that mean it is one of 216? Thanks Leroy The C means California edition which can only be found in Southern California's dealerships. Yes all Grabber Orange SGT are one of the 200 unless it is a clone. I want one of these so badly! It's either white or orange for me.
AFBLUE
Yes SGT-C = Grabber Orange SGT. At least 215 and no more than 217 were made (217 is the highest CSM# for a Grabber Orange one). Per a post by AmyB the question is whether 0001 and 0002 were Grabber Orange or test blue cars. http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php...mp;#entry435836

AFBLUE
How many are automatics? I know of one that is 08SGT0172 scottmadwi , Just some trivia. Glenn In this thread http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php...st&p=295612 Raven310 says 08SGT0181 is an automatic. That's the only other one I've come across. If the SGT-Cs are like the overall 08 SGT distribution only 2-3 would be autos.

RogerS
I like the stripes also. That car is in Coopenhegan. Was modified by Tasca with a Paxton and has a replacement block with forged internals. I believe it is also for sale. Roger

RogerS
Didnt he buy another Shelby from MM after the mishap with the first one? A 2008 Blue Coupe and his cousin purchased a Candy Apple Red California Special. I believe they are both automatics if I remember correctly. shelbyracer
Been meaning to put a picture up from Nor Cal SAAC Mini National convention. I get A LOT of compliments on my SGT-C and (surprisingly to me) more attention my my 427 Shelby cobra (although it is getting more than it used to since I put a new genesis block mootr that is bored and stroked to 490 ci). Some people may disagree with my decision to mod my limited edition Shelby, but universally people who see it agree that it looks even better and I think it looks better and (God willing) am never planning on selling it. Hopefully the attatchment works. John(;-)

Was modified by Tasca with a Paxton and has a replacement block with forged internals. I believe it is also for sale. Roger Just saw this post and thought I would fill you guys in all the details. As I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, I bought the cars unseen. As I have a original 66 Shelby with no stripes, I thought it would be cool to make this one a "stripe delete" also. I would imagine this car to be the only "stripe delete" car directly from the Shelby mod shop before ever getting registered. Also, I had Tasca transform the car into a GT/SC, but on the dyno, a rod broke due to what was apparantly a material flaw. Ford supplied a brand new motor, and we decided, now it was out of the car anyway, to have the motor strengthened with all forged internals as well as full balancing and lowering of the compression. Modifications also include stronger clutch, aluminum flywheel and many other little things. In 40 years, this car will have a pretty neat history and be quite special. I decided to sell the car as I found the manual/clutch setup too hard on my knee Yes, I just sold the car yesterday and will now be contrating on my Vista Blue (08SGT1943) GT/SC automatic. Even though it is an auto car and the whipple makes 37 rwhp less than my Paxton car, this one is much faster and more fun to drive, so I´m pretty sure I´m going to like the switch. With the taxes that has been placed on this car here, it will never leave this country. The price was $130.000 - believe it or not!

rmartin
SGT-C CSM07SGT007 - yes, #7. VIN - 00350 - yes, since this is essentially a modern era GT350, that was especially cool. Mileage - delivery miles plus a few miles to wash the car, and put back in with the rest. Condition - as delivered, with all markings, tags, stickers still on windows. Documentation - all documentation from Galpin including their order documentation - E01 (1st one ordered by them for 08). Was delivered to me on the MSO, so I was able to obtain all of that documentation before submitting to DMV for titling. Signed by Carroll personally on the A/B cover before it left the Shelby facility at SAI. ======================== Rich
