In another thread on Team Shelby, cars from the Sam Pack collection were noted going to auction. I've been several times to the museum and was always told there were bigger rooms of cars out back ----- never got to go in those....and never saw a GT-C out in the main room. In any event, I found a GT-C on the website. Same one that was in the April, 2008 Motortrend magazine....

Just saw this on CL - says it's one of the automatic cars but no other information. Is this one legit?

I went to the link. Description was a Mustang Shelby GT350(funny) and pictures show what appears to be a manual.

Yea I'm not sure what's going on there, also seems to be priced too low. I'm quite certain on that CSM being one of the automatic cars. If I hear anything different I'll advise.

Thanks Dwain. I don't know why but I was going off the info as described by Scott in this thread below. Post #1036. Is 08SGT124 really classified as an Auto?

Well, SGTC0163 is sold and going back home to its previous owner in Colorado......absolutely the best possible outcome. I loved owning the car for four years and I'm delighted that John will be taking over its care again. I'll sleep well knowing it's in great hands.

 

Now the search is on for a GT500! If anyone has a lead on a '08-09 Black or Vapor GT500 with black stripes or stripe delete.......

Thanks, Dwain.....yeah, it is a shame. I guess I only ever got to see your car one time, at a distance at the LSR. But I'll bet we'll eventually meet in person once I find a GT500 - central Texas just ain't that big!

I just bought a Grabber Orange Die Cast 1;18 scale model from Mikes Toy Shop on e-bay even though i have a white SGT. Mike said that he still had a few Grabber Orange left they are $39.99 plus shipping he also drives a white SGT.Thought i would pass this on to my fellow SGT owners.

What's up everyone, I recently purchased #200 of the 08 Shelby GT-Cs. The car needs some touch ups here and there, and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the exact same stripe package, the original ones have been eaten by the sun. Car has 14,000 miles and is in Miami, FL. Southern most GT-C

Congrats on the purchase .

I think you can still get replacement stripes from Shelby.

Many owners have had them painted on.

I had mine replaced by a local shop that does window tint and vinyl work.

They matched them perfectly.

Enjoy the car...
