69 boss 429 Posted October 28, 2009 Report Share Posted October 28, 2009 Quick story to share with you guys, I took my GT-C to the dealership yesterday to have a few things done(oil-change, etc.) while there I started talking with 3 salesmen, who told me they a couple of interesting things. First, they told me they had just sold a Mustang exactly like mine, some guy traded it in and they gave him $10,000 for it, I guess it had 4,000 miles, it had the dash signed by Carroll, yada, yada. Then, they started comparing mine to the 2010 GT500, they started talking about how mine has a different supercharger, and intake. Then, they turned to me and said, "you know we just sold a brand new 2010 one just like yours but Grabber Blue." Finally, they remembered taking mine off the truck and asked if I was the one who bought it there. I just stood back and laughed. Finally, I told them what it was, how it came from California, and unlike the GT500 has actually been to SAI.(we've all done this before) I also told them I was pretty sure it is the only one in Oklahoma, and they probably never had one exactly like it. All three had this glazed over look, as if I just told them their families had been killed. After which, they just said, well those Shelbys are awesome cars, and left. These wheels are American Muscle FR500. They fit the Extreme Big brakes. My old wheels (18x9) were American racing S1. They can go with your stck calipers, even if you just upgrade the rotors and pads. They are now for sale, $125 each ($500set) only 4500 miles on the wheels and they have the TPMS bands on them. The Carlsbad dealer showing #212 told me he sold his about 1 month ago. Would not share details on its whereabouts. Citrus Ford told me they diidn't have a grabber orange one in stock??
