crispy23c
Here's something extremely rare. Any Terlingua fan should make a pilgrimage to Farmer's Branch, TX (next to Dallas, 15 min's fron DFW) to SEE THIS CAR. This is Bill Neale's personal Terlingua car, serial # 002. For a little background on this car, Kenny Northum (a principal at Quantum) built this car for Bill. I have to tell you, I was very impressed with Kenny's craftsmanship and attention to detail when he built this car. If you go to see it, pay attention to the inertia reels (how he fabricated them), rear quarters (if you have a very sharp eye you may notice something verrrry interesting about them, but I won't tell), rain channels, and gas tank, not to mention the engine bay area and the engine itself!!! It is a true masterpiece that any Terlingua fan would love to see. If you aren't aware, Quantum is a very dedicated group of enthusiasts who are working with us as a Mod Shop building Super Snakes, 40th Anniversary, and (soon) Terlingua Mustangs. Enjoy the pics! tispco
That is a cool Mustang. I have a print of the painting Bill Neale did of serial # 001. It is reverse of this one - black with a yellow stripe.

tpow96
Nice post Chris. I had always wanted to know the connection between Quantum and Dallas Mustang with these 1966 cars, and now I know: it's Kenny. Here's more about #001 (yours for a cool $70K) if someone hasn't seen it: http://www.dallasmustang.com/page/terlinguamustang.html I had hoped that DM would sell more of the parts they used for it (as a DIY job). -Tom
