1970boss302
Is Ford over extending itself with mentions of new models of the mustang? Is the Bullitt model now for 2008 pushing back the Boss model till 2009 ? Does anyone at Ford have any light to shed on all this hype hitting the news ? Is Ford just trying to keep the hype up on the Mustang to keep sales up ? Please Someone out there on the net shed some light to all this model hype !!!! P.S. was waiting with money for the Boss but if not till 2009!! I'll buy a Challenger

P.S. was waiting with money for the Boss but if not till 2009!! I'll buy a Challenger I don't have any concrete information but I do not believe the Boss will be out in MY '08. Currently, Ford does not have a viable high horsepower NA engine for the Boss and they haven't fully addressed the over-weight issue. Without a legitimate NA engine and a serious weight reduction, the Boss will not be a viable competitor in the market and will disappoint the legions of fans clamoring for a new Boss. My guess, and it is just that, a guess, is that the Boss will debut with the redesigned Mustang in MY '10. I don't want to wait either but I'd rather Ford get the Boss right and deliver the performance goods as opposed to producing yet another stripe and tape model.
