Bob Knudsen
One reason I really like this site: When most people here discover that I own six cars, they think I am odd. Here I fit right in. Odd people would want to sell a car because they have too many. Normal people like me do not see too many cars, they see a garage that is too small. esc
One reason I really like this site: When most people here discover that I own six cars, they think I am odd. Here I fit right in. Odd people would want to sell a car because they have too many. Normal people like me do not see too many cars, they see a garage that is too small. My wife walked into my office just as I finished reading Bob's quote, so I read the quote aloud to her. Her comment was "did you write that", to which I replied that I had not, she then said "well, you could have". Another thing to consider regarding what is "normal" is what did you grow up with. For example, when I was a teenager, my father also had 8 or 10 cars all at once. Obviously his taste was significantly different than mine. His coolest cars were a 1964 Lincoln Convertible with suicide doors and a 1957 Cadillac El Dorado Brougham. I had hoped to inherit the Cadillac someday. Here is a link to a site displaying a clone of his old Cadillac, http://www.eldobrghm.com/. These cost 8k in 1957 and cost GM something like 18k per copy. GM sold them for a loss because they did not sell enough units to cover their R&D

DubbsFaris
BTW- I just got banned from Tundrasolutions after I asked about running premium fuel in the 5.7... They told me that topic has been discussed and that they don't want it discussed again. So they ban me... Why not just call me a f*in newb and be done with it... Snaky
Hmmm, I probably have two specials for you: Before I bought the Shelby, I was riding a car "from the dark side" (means a japanese car ). A Toyota Supra TwinTurbo. As I know also a very well known car in the states with a big mass appeal. Let me tell you. It is a wonder- and powerfull car... Snaky
Now we have another special car (actually I bought it for my wifes birthday). As I know you don't know the car in the States. It is a 1969 Fiat 500F (so I have two 500-er cars ). We call it Italian-backpack because of it's size. This little toy is smaller then a smart. It has a 500cc block with 16.27HP has a length of almost 10 feets and his weight is 1'168lbs :happy feet:

Pig
In addition to the 07 Shelby I have a 96 Cobra (I'm its only owner--it's waiting to be repaired after a hail storm, I wasn't home couldn't protect my baby!), a 2002 F-150, a 94 F-150, a 2007 Edge SEL, and a 2003 Harley Softail. CC Rock on CobraCrazy! I've also got a white 96 Cobra. It was my first "fast" car and I still love it, although it doesn't get much seat time currently. I bought it from my brother in fall of 96 after he dragged me to Fun Ford Weekend....which is where the bug bit me hard. The wife drives an 08 BMW 535i, and I REALLY like that car. The thing is a damn ROCKET....love the new twin turbo setup. I have to admit those Germans really know how to build solid cars. Her previous car was an 03 BMW 330i, and that thing handled like an SOB. I've also got an 05 Land Rover LR3 HSE7, which I really like, but its possibly the least economical vehicle on the road....expensive as hell to buy & maintain, and 14 mpg on Premium gas only. The Shelby has replaced this one as my DD, but that'll change next week when carpool starts up again. So....current stable includes: 07 Shelby GT500 Vert 08 BMW 535i 05 Land Rover LR3 96 SVT Cobra Coupe 69 Pontiac GTO (Judge clone) - For Sale Notice our dog trying to escape the madness... Previous rides: 03 BMW 330i 99 Range Rover HSE 99 Volvo S70 T5 73 International Scout II (that thing was a TANK)
