Strawman Posted July 26, 2008 Report Share Posted July 26, 2008 A little off topic, but....For the past two years, I've taken my Dad to the August Nascar race in Bristol, Tenn. Two years ago I rented a Hertz Shelby GT-H and last year I rented a GT-H convertible. (These rentals are why I own a SGT today) When we arrive at the track, it's as if Dale Jr. is driving the damn thing, with all the attention it garners. Well this year (with most of the Shelby fleet retired), I've reserved a Hertz Corvette ZHZ. It's a limited production run of 500 for Hertz (Hmmm...). 436 HP, sounds awesome! Thanks again, Hertz! Hopefully this will tide me over until my KB install is completed. Here's a video clip of a rental that may give Hertz something to consider....traction control. I got the buick wifes car was in shop no loaners around....I really wanted a pic of a GTH and my SGT plus I thought she may dig the GTH...no vettes for her... Enjoy it!
