KingCobra
My car was built on June 30th and it's still in Michigan!!!!!!! I've been told by Ford of Canada that it was held for Government inspection!!! and Ralph told me that is was part of a group of almost 900 Shelby's held for clutch issues. Ralph told me that it had left the plant for shipping by September 1st, but Ford of Canada tells me that it still has not been shipped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to go crazy here!!! There are people on this forum that are driving thier Shelbys' already, that were built in August, BUT MINE, built on June 30th still sits there!!!!!!! WTF (sorry) !!!!!!! FedEx can tell me a complete history of any parcel shipped, who touched it and when. Where and when the parcel is at any given time from shipping to delivery, BUT Ford can't tell me S T about where my car is and why it hasn't been shipped 76 days after being built, this is my first Ford purchase, and I am fed up, and anything but impressed with this company. For the love of God, if anyone can help me solve this, so I can get my car and get on with life, I would be forever greatful. KingCobra.

Mine was also built on June 30th, striped on July 26, shipped on Aug 2, and arrived Aug 14. Seems like you should have gotten your car by now. Call the Flat Rock plant as I did and see what they can tell you. Ford Customer Service was always about a week behind on thier information

After talking to Ford Customer service, Ford Customer Service supervisors, one of whom (Scott M___________) promised he would call me back with some information "before 5 pm today" 15 DAYS AGO AND AGAIN 10 DAYS AGO - I'm still waiting for his call), Ralph at the Flat Rock Plant, and my dealer, it is my belief that NO ONE CAN SOLVE THIS FOR US. Ford's system simply sucks. They either don't KNOW where our cars are or they WON'T TELL US. I suspect the former. My Shelby was finished on August 4th, was supposed to be here August 17th, was held up by the clutch inspection, was released to the shipping yard (according to Ralph) at least 10 to 14 days ago, and still isn't here. I was supposed to get my SVT/PA dealer's 1st car, but his SECOND car has already arrived and been delivered to the customer. Talk about WTF! Are you listening Ford? I live in Michigan - a short drive from the Flat Rock Plant - and I am seriously considering telling my dealer to give me my deposit back. Why do I want to pay an ADM for a car I'll get a week before the snow starts to fly? This is complete B.S.
