Here is my 2c which BTW counts as everything.

 

I say we get the car.

 

No better way to stregthen the bond of Father and Son than to tinker around together in the shop.

 

The other benefit is that it will lessen the Video game time.

Today an ASE mech checked the car over, and I spoke to him for 15 minutes about the car. He did a Full safety check. He cleaned the oil off the bottom of the bell housing and put dye in the oil and drove it for 20 miles. Did an infared light check. No leaks. He said that the rear seal must of been leaking at some point but now that the car is being driven, that it is not leaking. He said there was oil around the oil filter from past oil changes and he cleaned that all up too. He found it needed a new air filter and he changed the oil too. He said the front brakes were at 95% and the rears were at 85%. The mech has owned 4 Mustangs and said it was a tight car, and in unusually excellent condition. He said that if someone told him it had 5000 miles on it....he would of believed it.

 

The car has 28,500 miles on it.
