Pulley:

Programmer:

Talk to Doug at:

http://www.bamachips.com/store/

He can also send you a mail order tune

Exhaust:

http://www.lmperformance.com/6700/.html

Exhaust is a personal preference thing though. I'm partial to the Corsa listed above.

Gears:

I'd do 4:10 but some are scared of that gear and go with 3.73 =)

Short shifter:

Havent' seen one yet...anyone?

Chassis:

I'd also DEFINITELY replace the upper and lower control arms and 3rd link. This car has massive wheel hop if it hooks, and those mods will control that. Also consider a one piece driveshaft. Lighter, more RWHP, and stronger than the stock 2 piece.

Check out BMR's stuff here:

http://www.bmrfabrication.com/2005Mustang.htm .

Driveshaft:

The driveshaft imo is the NUMBER ONE mod to do a new GT500:

Look at the difference between the weak, heavy ass stock shaft and the replacement:

You might want to just break her in and be patient.

Sounds to me like he wants to mod it. If he's driven it at all it's broken in. Mods have no effect on breakin at all regardless. The thing has a supercharger from the factory on a "non broken in" new engine.

Metco is in the pulley game for this car and Lethal performance is investigating lower pulley possibilities. We should have heard about the FRPP/Whipple stuff by now as well. And apparently the MY08 computer program is more mod friendly. You may want to see if a good SVT type delaership/performance service dept. may have an upgrade avail in the near future.

No offense taken. I think the point of my post was missed, maybe I should have left off the first sentence. My point is that with SEMA around the corner there are bound to be some great mods announced. Aftermarket development on this car is just starting. I wouldn't surprise me if there were 10+ Shelby GT500s on the floor in Las Vegas. Good things are in store. Your mod choices will be vastly expanded in the months ahead.

Almost 4K miles on mine now, definitely not a garage queen. Others are filling that role.

BTW- I'll be at SEMA and will shoot/post some pics of what I discover.
