And I am hopeful that someone can create a section just for the regional mod shops and then move this post there. ShelbyGT/SC Posted August 7, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 7, 2008 Tasca Pics Hey all, I was at Tasca today getting new pulleys installed for my SGT/SC (Whipple). My stock pulleys were starting to squeak and were already replaced twice. Roger uncovered some performance pulleys that he installed on his car and they looked awesome so he ordered me some too. No more squeak. Thanks Roger. I could have easily installed them but I wanted to be able to say that Tasca installed them. ShelbyGT/SC Posted August 7, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 7, 2008 And for those people trying to decide whether you like the Alcoas over the silver Razors for a black Shelby, here are some comparisons. I am in the market for 2 wheels so I can have an extra set for racing (and have a spare for my upcoming trips to SAAC 33 and Terlingua). Dennis at Tasca had a set of Alcoas I was almost about to purchase but while thinking about it, someone else bought the whole set. There will be SAI representatives including at least one special someone and possibly two but I can't say but it's not Carroll. So the bottom line is that just because Carroll won't be here its not a reason to not come. It will still be awesome and the surprise(s) will be worth it too. They still had events indoors where many of our early cars were modified (now Dennis uses another building). He was very much looking forward to this for weeks. Also, Paul's car came out awesome (got his permission to post these pics).
