circleofsnakes
I got myself a brand new 2008 Mustang a little over a month ago. I plan on using a lot of CS parts. Does anyone know about when the superchargers will be ready for the '08s? Not that I can afford one yet.
clark17357
Kenne Bell and Whipple are ready (as in C.A.R.B. certified) now. The Paxton will not be certified for the '08 cars until early 2009. Other brands, I do not know. Jim

Does anyone know how the Magna Charger compares to the Paxtons? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each one?
Paleoc
I should've been more clear on what I got. I bought a V6. Does anyone know how the Magna Charger compares to the Paxtons? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each one? It appears that the Magna Charger is for the 4.6 V-8. The X-Charger is what is mounted on V-6's. You will find lots on the X-Charger here: http://www.mustangcollective.com/search.php?searchid=515836 http://www.mustangcollective.com/showthrea...light=X-Charger

Check out my thread (Legend Lime CS6-X). You will have to cut a "slot" underneath the hood for the pully. CS6 hood does not accomdate any root style supercharger. circleofsnakes
I saw that thread. I love that car. That's my favorite color Ford has offered on Mustangs. I'm actually considering a different hood if I can find it by the time i'm ready to buy it.
