Bit of a panic when I hammered to catch up to Jeff and the flipping sheriff came around the corner just at the moment. Pucker effect. On the way home what a ride - Driving down I-25 at 85 mile per hour windy as all get out and a large piece of debris "Part of a cooler" smacked the right side of the car. Minor scratches on the mirror. My sister was with us and said the cops are always on that part of the road because of the shooting range we passed just seconds later. Sorry to hear about the mirror hope it waswsn't to bad!! Lani and I went to golden tonight for about 2 hours and man was there a lot of really nice Hot rods from bucket T's to a gt-40 it was amazing to see must have been well over a 1,000 cars there what a great time. If you havn't done the golden saturday night thing got to put it on your list of summer events it is a great couple of hours to see everything ever built!! Look forward to September and a couple of us were thinking maybe Colorado Springs "Garden of the Gods" might be a nice crusie??? Wes what do you think? JeffJ Posted August 4, 2008 Report Share Posted August 4, 2008 The 13th will not work for me and a couple others as that is the day for the Wild West Autofest that is put on by the Denver Mustang Club down at Clement Park in Littleton. It's a big nice show on the grass in conjunction with the Jefferson County Summer Set Festival, so there always a lot to see and plenty of food and fun. Usually right around 600+ cars. Well now we have 3 in Parker and 1 in Franktown and I know of another 07 GT here in Cantebury close to me but I can't figure out where he lives.
