Becoses 4 plants shut down he said his car was to be delivered 8/1 did not get his . He said the cars are all held up at rail and dont know when thay will be released .I will keep calling him. I called Ford Customer Service at about 3 pm EST today. They gave me the usual song and dance: "Says here your car was supposed to be there on the 17th! She did confirm that the Shelby's are on hold and they will start shipping as soon as posible. She did state that Ford would not tell them why just that they are on hold. burnedgt500 Posted September 1, 2006 Report Share Posted September 1, 2006 2 members posted new arrivals today. More than likly these 2 are cars that was shipped before placed the Shelby's on hold . I am sure there are many out there in the rail system still that have not made there destination. The one's on hold are the ones with the status code of REL-FR-PLT these cars are just sitting there for sometype of repair. If the car had been moved to the "Shipped" status then that car was loaded before the "hold" was put in place. At least this is what the Regional Ford Sals rep. told us!
