giddyup69
Looking at maybe purchasing a 1973 Grande. It's metallic gold with white interior, 302 auto. PB, PS, AC, Tilt, 8 track, white vinyl top. Needs floors, deck lid, little bit of wheel well rust. Asking is $1500.00 with a probable taking of $1000.00 even. Runs drives - sat for 7 years. I'm looking for a good candidate to swap a 5.0 EFI from a 91 T-bird into for a good driver - something different but still cool enough to cruise in. Any thoughts on the 1973 coupes? Worth fooling with? Take the poll will try to update with pic of car next week Gracias
giddyup69
Here are those pics as promised. On inspection looks like it's a regular coupe, not Grande - if that makes a difference. Door tag also included for your reference - engine btw is a 302 2bbl with a C4 tranny. thanks for your input :burnout:
acisne
I wouldn't fool with it. I have restore several '73s (Mach 1s and convertibles). You are going to spend the same as you would on a more desirable body and the final car will be worth less. I know you shouldn't think of it that way, but '71-73 coupes are bad investments. If it was a '71 with a 429 or a '72 with a 351 H.O. or even a '73 with 351- 4V or 2V-ram air, then maybe, but not this one. Good luck! BTW, have you thought about resizing the pics? They take forever to load.
