OC Shelby Arrived

colt

Recommended Posts

I got the called on 8/18 about 7 PM. I got down to the dealer about 1 PM the next day. About 3 PM I was on the road. So far I had about 90 + miles. How is the car? Well I'm still smiling. The drive from the dealer was on the freeway. This car is a true all around car. There are power even @ 2K RPM. I need time to break in. So for now I only rev up to about 3k+ and trying :D to keep under 70 mph. The following are list of mod I'm planning to do:

- clear bra

- magnaflow (hope to get for free in exchange for showing my car on their request)

- May be paint the the outside mirror

See link below to pictures I took on 8/19

fastback did u get your car

Yes I picked it up saturday!

Fastbackman,

How was your driving?

It was great! Lots of stares and comments. Ride was really better than I expected, braking is awesome, and it is just fun to drive. With the long drive home, I've put 700 miles on mine since saturday and I've enjoyed every minute of it. I flogged it from a dead stop on highway 300 in Texas with the traction control still on and was very impressed with the power. It has great pickup in third gear!

Very nice colt. I didn't get blue/white, but I personally think that's the most "nostalgic" color combo...really like it.

Dave

That is one of the reason I love this color combo.

Fastbackman,

So far I only had 130+ miles on my. I will try to get some owners in SoCal with their new Shelby to drive up to mountain Polamar. This will cool route to take.

Cool looking car. LOL

Westminster is not to far so maybe I'll see you at a Mustang Club event at Ricky and Ronnies some time?

What dealer did you get from? Hey do you know any other person? When is the Mustang club event? Also, keep an eye on my post because I'm planning to see if we have drive up to the mountain.
