Rick Martin
Sure they do. Its free advertising. Plus you get to see how RARE (not) they are. Nothing more than a modified GT500.
Michael Morris
Cant stop them from going on ebay. What they going to do not give them a KR allocation NEXT year ( not saying a KR for 2010 ). The dealers will put them straight on ebay. michael morris
robertlane
I doubt that I am the only enthusiast who percieves the current marketing of these KRs as gross and in many cases flatly laughable. Why would something so rare and collectable need to be barked on Ebay. What does that tell a rationally thinking person. The car could be sold locally or with the effort of a few phone calls if it were the unique gem that the hype would lead a potential buyer to believe. Everything is on Ebay - even stolen military equipment...................
robertlane
A reasonable selling price would move the car locally and negate the need for Ebay auctioning with their associated comission and fees. The KRs on Ebay are listed by dealers that are looking to drop a bomb on somebody. There are two issues in regard to KR prices: 1) Ford dealers have been taking a bath (selling below MSRP) on virtually every product that they have been selling for years now. Now that the truck market has tanked, it has only decreased operating margins further. 2) The Shelby moniker carries a lot of weight. That, along with the fact that the KR was only a 1/2 year run some 40 years ago and that they are only making 1,571 = desirability + rarity. The internet, along with Ebay is how a lot of transactions are sought and made these days. Regardless of what Ford wants, KRs will appear on Ebay as it is the premier site for sellers of all sorts of products.
twobjshelbys
Found a dealer with one in Colorado. Black on black, probably the fastest color . Unrealistic expectations on price but he might reset after a reality check. PM me for contact.

The cost entails more than parts or their installation. For example, the costs of certification, crash testing and parts development is expensive.....especially when divided into only 1,571 units. venomus07GT500
I'd LOVE to see them on there! Hmmn you would think the crash testing would have been done on the Mustang, and gt500 already, I am not stupid and I am aware that a nice chunk of the price is due to demand, hype and also to take a chunk out of the dealer mark up. no worries.
