mywickedshelby Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 ran around doing last minute stuff for the wedding (June 7th) and didnt get to the Leo Kaytes All Ford Show in Warwick, NY........was pre-registered....oh well! BUT I did go to cruise night at the old Nanuet Mall Friday night ........and SS I know what you mean......... lots of people talked about hitting it regularly, BUT NO TEAM SHELBY MEMBERS WERE THERE. In fact, there were no Shelbys other than mine. Oh yeah, there were 3 clowns who made a snide comment about CS when they saw my TS shirt,.....when I challenged them on it, turns out they werent SAAC members either, just 3 clowns who thought running their mouth would be ok.......I begged to differ and the 3 of them shut up in a hurry when I walked right up to them and asked them elaborate...........stuffing each comment neatly back up their..........well you know!...... mywickedshelby Posted June 2, 2008 Report Share Posted June 2, 2008 I was there till the sun went down....it was after 8:30......with my black SGT and wearing my Team Shelby tshirt.....the car was wearing the Carroll Shelby 85th Birthday Bullrun door signage...........right by the Middletown Rd entrance/exit..........with the crowd around his Shelby........ ......and the sequential tail lights running in hazard mode.......... .....you didnt see me? And believe me I have taken my share of collars and closed out many 61's in my time. Its been a ghost town since the Palisades Center Mall opened. If your are retired from NYPD, well H.R. 218 takes care of everything else. BTW Rockland county does not have a PD. This area is covered by Clarkstown Police Department, "The highest paid department in the county". The Rockland Rodders host a safe and secure car cruises every Friday night from 6p.m. to 9p.m. IMHO Newburg is just like the 46 pct.
