Spokane Shelby Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 March 28 - 30, this weekend, is the 45th annual Auto Boat Speed Show at the Spokane County Fairgrounds. This is similar to the Seattle Roadster Show, but not as large. The show features street rods, muscle cars, classics, bikes, boats, vendor displays and entertainment. The winner of the Riddler Award will be at the show. This award goes to the best new street rod in the United States. Henry "The Fonz" Winkler", along with Cindy Williams and "Ralph the Mouth" will be at the show all three days. Our club, The Inland Empire Mustang Club, is having a display with five cars. The display will be presented like an upscale car dealers showroom. We are going to have our modified Vista Blue GT500 in the show. Angled nose to nose will be our modified 1967 Mustang Fastback. It is Dark Aloha Green Pearl with White Shelby stripes. We are working hard, as a club, to have a nice display. We would like to invite folks from the Pacific Northwest to attend the show. There are usually close to 250 cars on display each year. It is a comfortable inside venue. Parking is free at the Fairgrounds and it is easy to find.
