ingram4868 Posted March 20, 2008 Report Share Posted March 20, 2008 Its a polymer coating. Bought it once but never again. It will come off with hot water and dawn dish soap. Even if you keep the coating on, keep waxing the car as usual. They apply it after the car gets to the dealer so the rail dust and gunk is now under the coating. It's way over-priced and IMO not as effective or durable as they claim. IMHO it's a gimmick by dealers to rake-in additional profits on a car sale.
