It looks great. #1 on the list since 1922 ( or at least it seems that long). The prep guy was sharp--he said " I assume you want every piece of paper that came with it, hand wash only, and NO front license plate bracket." My 04 Speedser was tough to give up.. Mama says...one of these has to go. So I'm making room for the Shelby. I've waited over 40 years for this! Let us know how she rides.. I got a ride in Aluminum Overcast a couple years ago in Peoria. The car is great! I got it at Lawrence Marshall Ford outside of Houston. They kept it hidden from the public until I picked it up. A huge crowd formed when word got out that the Shelby was outside. THe people at the dealership were great. I was #1 on the list for a very long time and they did not try to auction off the car or sell it to a VIP like some dealers have. They kept their word and made sure I got the car. Yes, I fly B-17's. I fly for the Lone Star Flight Museum and fly the B-17 Thunderbird and a few other warbirds. I'm usually driving in the northwest part of Houston. I have been driving all day today. The car is great. My car came in 2 weeks before they thought it would--maybe you will get yours sooner.
