Money
Was at the dealership yesterday getting my new wheels maounted and balanced when the service manager informs me that there is a recall on the passenger side airbag. He tells me that they can fix this by "reprogramming the computer". They were about to close and did not have time to do this....Thank God, because I didn't have my tune set back to stock when i took it there. Has anyone heard about this yet? These are all the 2008 Shelby 5.4 TSBs/Recalls in All-Data, but it could be a new one: Automotive Recall and Technical Service Bulletin Titles for 2008 Ford Mustang V8-5.4L SC. I'm jumping in on your thread to pass on, if this recall effects your car, Ford will send you notification in the mail with a fix date, and where to get r done. Carl Bishop
Had mine fixed last week, it took about 15 minutes.
Afterburner
Had mine fixed last week, it took about 15 minutes. Mine was done by the dealer before I picked the car up two weeks ago. I guess if there's a TSB, they peform it during the prep if they can.
TheKurgan
Had mine done last week too. It's a recall on all Mustangs, not just Shelby's. I wouldn't worry about your custom tune. Leonard 95
don't worry about tune or anything. I have done numerous of these recalls, we go into the rcm, never even touch the pcm.
