69dejavue
Just out of curiosity....has anyone had an opportunity to gauge their handling before and after the addition of a super charger? Does the additional weight, especially the weight of the intercooler in front of the front wheels have any effect? Has the overall weight being added to the front of the car had any effect on handling?
ShelbyGT/SC
I drove mine before and after and really can't say I felt any difference at all.
JeffIsHereToo
I drove mine before and after and really can't say I felt any difference at all. I drove Adam's car in Vegas and other than the speed, I didn't feel any difference. But it was only a short drive.
greaser
the ic is so light that unless you are going to turn it into a F1 car you should never notice it.
LuLu
A complete "all, nuts and bolts" supercharger kit weighs in about 125 pounds for shipping purposes. Since this added weight is evenly distributed across the engine bay, some before and some after the front axle centerline, and likewise left to right, you shouldn't detect any significant ill effect. Remember to adjust tire PSI.
