chriswhite33
I've been doing some research on both the shelby gt500 and the roush stage 3 package. Which is better? 45k msrp or 50k msrp. of course you will get the roush for 50k (probably less) but good luck getting the shelby for anything close to that!! Guest evilchris
If you can get the Shelby at MSRP it blows away the Roush in value and future resale. Otherwise I'd buy neither and mod a GT.
RUFDRAFT
I'm not a fan of any tuner cars. Most of them add body pieces and suspension pieces the average driver doesn't need or is going to use. And - I don't like graphics. I prefer stealth! If I was going to buy one or the other - I'd buy the Shelby. Better resale and opportunities to mod the engine.
flattusmaximus78
Out of the two I'd recoment saleen. 1. because if you have reserved a gt500 from the first batch you wont see one in forever, ann 2. the saleen is alot faster than both of em... of course depending on which one you get. An 04 Cobra was $35k and smokes them.
flattusmaximus78
No not neccesarily. I can't think of a stock 04 cobra that could break the 11's with chromed out 20's? http://videos.streetfire.net/search/06+mus...fdaea9c3d38.htm For the price you can't beat the s281 e coupe. 550 horsepower, and 500 foot pounds of torque. RUFDRAFT
And what do "chromed out" 20's have to do with performance?

Oh you are talking about the Extreme. It's like $75k. At that price I'll take a Z06 please =)
flattusmaximus78
And what do "chromed out" 20's have to do with performance? I was pointing out it's breaking into 11's even with some heavy rims!
