ingram4868 Posted December 16, 2005 Report Share Posted December 16, 2005 That is a great site, thanks for posting the link. I was not able to experience the 69/70 TransAm period. Those were also my years in the Army. So reading about the history of those cars is like reading of a new adventure for me. I did remember hearing of some Ford team that was bringing cars to combat areas for the troops to see. I never saw any of them but I do remember that you could go into a military PX and buy a new Mustang and have it waiting for you when you got home. Assuming you got home.
