supersnake1
Are the fiberglass bodies made in Mexico or South Africa and ASSEMBLED into roller status at Shelby in Vegas?
GT500-07
Are the fiberglass bodies made in Mexico or South Africa and ASSEMBLED into roller status at Shelby in Vegas? I think HST Automotive does the fiberglass/roller and sends them to SAI for inspection and for the engine bay plaque.
twobjshelbys
I was looking at HST's site and they have some rollers in stock... Mine is a carbon fiber body and I'm impressed with the quality of the coachwork. I don't know the full sequence ("chain of evidence" - so to speak) but CSX4005LA is a HST-bult car - sold to original owner to Latin America (Mexico) with a power train installed. It is signed by Mr. Shelby on the glove box, and I believe he signs them in Vegas. If HST builds the bodies they do good work. I don't know who does the final finish but it is the most impressive paint job I've ever seen (even better than the black on my Ford Shelby GT.)
