cleaning stripes

How do you guys clean your stripes? When I wash my car, I can't seem to get stains off my stripes. I tried cleaner wax, and clay bar, it still won't come off. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this would work for you to take out the spots, but after washing sometimes I use 303 Protectant. I use this on the vinyl instead of wax as it allegedly will not yellow over time and it has UV protectant. I have used it on my RV's for a few years.

I waxed my stripes.Are you saying this wasn't good?

I think it depends on the wax. I understand that some wax may yellow over time, and that it can build up on the edges of the stripes. So for that reason I just avoid doing it. I think there are a lot of guys that always wax their stripes and may have much better information on this than I do (I'm sure they'll chime in here!).

I use Zaino and just polish over it and it looks awesome. Ilmor I use that 303 for my interior and mirror covers and such. I used on my boat when I had it. It works great. Better than Armor All.
