Great topic Roger!...

1984 Camaro - 06/90-06/93 - (V6 w/ T-tops... Fun high-school car)

1990 Mazda MX-6 -06/93-09/98 - (spent too much on stereo equipment... Fun college car)

1997 Nissan 4x4 XE Extended Cab pickup - 06/97-07/03 - (Nice for Michigan winters... and fun first job after college car)

2003 Mazda 6s - 03/03-10/04 - (Loaded including Bose stereo w/ a mini-disc player)

2004 Acura TL - 11/04-present - (6 spd manual w/ Navigation... technology showcase... great fun to drive (despite FWD) and it gets 30mpg)

2008 Shelby GT Convertible 06/08 - present (Never going to sell it... my wife says our 13 month old son can drive it to prom some day)

My wife's primary driver (...typically used as our family car from 1998 on)

1988 Mercury Cougar - 09/96-04/99 - (Her first car wasn't until 20 yrs old... 3.8L... too much maintenance)

1995 Ford T-bird - 04/99-08/02 - (4.6L... very nice car)

2000 Mercury Sable LS Premium -08/02-08/04 - (Nice car... Drove this one on the Formula One Road Course @ Indianapolis Motor Speedway)

2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT 4x4 - 04/04-03/08 - (Good family car... MPG stunk. We were moving away from the snow this spring & my wife was gracious enough to agree to us selling the family truckster so we could get a proper fun car (the SGT Vert) when we moved to Florida from Illinois)

Although some are foreign makes, all were made in the USA ...

Thanks,

Matt

hi- I just listed my cars I owned until now.

As you see there's different kind of cars as yours :headscratch: Maybe some kind of quiz for you, what the hell are these vehicles. :headscratch:

So as you see,I owned german cars; italian, french, and the only thing that I can say is; Even if German cars have a great quality, Italian cars have beautiful designs; and french cars, "sorry, but I don't remember what they have", :censored: There's only one car that gives me an absolut sensation when I see it in my garage or drive it along here; and that is my Shelby.

1989' FORD ESCORT XR3 - my first car, grey, 90 hp -

1990' PEUGEOT 205 GTi 1.9 - white , body kit, 130 hp- 700 kg- nice and funny

1992' VW CORRADO VR6 - blue metallic, 6 cyl. 190 hp - km 250 max speed- nice to play with porsches

1995' VW GOLF GTI (1983') red -5 door -1.8 PIRELLI - 112 hp- limited edition

1998' VW POLO 1.6 - grey -low and hard

2000' VW BORA 1.9 TDi - black break- family car - what was my idea buying that car ????

2001' ALFA ROMEO 147 2.0 SELESPEED - black -150 hp - Italians do it better ! 4get it- sold as soon as possible

2001' AUDI TT 1.8 ROADSTER - 180 hp green metallic- cool car for the summer - 18" wheels-

2003' VW GOLF V 2.0 GTi - red- 200 hp - DSG transmission - really funny-

2005' MERCEDES SLK - cubanitsilver -nice cabrio feeling

2008' SMART FORTWO - blue & grey - 0.9 L - 84 hp - my transportation to my job place- don't need more for that!!!

2008' SHELBY GT - A dream comes true

One thing is for sure; maybe we're gonna change the Mercedes or the Smart in the next 2 Years but my Shelby is gonna stay 4ever!

:salute:

My list is short. But here it is:

1993 Ford Mustang convertible: Cherry Red-great condition- My first car EVER! Begged for a mustang and I got it! Sold it because it was not "family friendly". Getting my son in and out of the back seat was a butt! Miss it to this day and kick myself for selling it.

1998 Ford Taurus: "The purple monster". Had problems with this car from day one. After tons of money it was time to let her go!

2001 Ford Taurus: Silver. I didn't learn my lesson from the first taurus I bought and got another =X DOH!

2003 Ford Explorer Sport:White. God Bless my parents. They bought a new car and gave me this one. Great car, but only had 2 doors. Again, getting kids in and out wasn't fun- but a free car is a free car! =D

2007 Ford Escape: White. My first brand new car EVER thanks to my hubby :) GREAT family car, great mileage, lots of room. We will likely keep this for some time. Although, if we have any more babies-we will need more seats!

Thats all for me. Lots of great lists.. I am JEALOUS! =D

OK I'll play. You'll notice there had been a trend over the years until now....

1972 Pinto - hey I got it for $1 and I was 17

1983 Toyota Pickup 4x2

1993 F-150 4x4

1993 Explorer 4x4 (wife)

1997 Ford Ranger 4x2

1997 F-250 Reg Cab Diesel 4x4

2001 Explorer 4x4 (wife)

2000 F-350 Dually Crew cab 4x4

2002 Super cab Ranger

2007 Mustang SGT (wife)

As you see I have not been much of a "car" guy. I have to admit the Shelby has changed that. There is not another "car" that I really care for and in the very brief time we have had the Shelby, I find myself looking for another one. :eek5:

Maybe I'm just getting old. :hide:
