MattInDetroit
hummm....not too keen on the color now that I see it. But then again it also looks to be a BAD photoshop effort. I'm not even sure this is really the car. Maybe it is but it's dirty car, not your usual PR photo, and it could just be a white SGT with the color replaced in Photoshop. Anyway...I'm happy with white. Thoughts all? Opps...sorry! Missed the post elsewhere comment! Now I've ruined things...
SWEDESHELBY1
I like the black with the black bullits the best for obvious reasons. Also car has gone up quite a bit from the 07 model year.

I think you may be right about coloring, doesn't look like an actual vista blue car. Certainly doesn't match the GT500 vista blue.
Webba
I saw this over at Themustangsource.com as well. It was a preliminary photo to just get it out to the dealers on a bulletin. I dont think it looks that bad. I prefer my white one but still it is a great choice for those who arent into white or black. The big news was the vert I think. Im prefer a coupe but alot of people were whining that there wasnt a vert. Well now there is so they better get out and buy one and support Ford and Shelby
SHELBYGT2007
I like the new Shelby GT color but I also like my White Shelby GT as well. If they are trying to make it somewhat different from the 2007 Shelby GT I would say that they did well. Now the question is will that coler sell the car or not, only time will tell. SWEDESHELBY1
I may add: The color of Vista Blue, in my opinion, will not sell as well as the white or black. It just seems the car needs something else when I see the blue on it. Yes, time will tell.
RogerS
Vista Blue is an very nice color the Silver looks good also. This car is begging to have white stripes and visa versa!
oilman
Exactly - white stripes would make all the difference, but I don't think that illustration is accurate on the blue shading. It isn't that dark. The silver stripes on the actual vista blue shade aren't all that bad, but white would certainly make it stand out. If only the powers to be are listening and reading. It just seems the car needs something else when I see the blue on it. Yes, time will tell. ....I think it will sell, at least 2200 of them. I know at least three people on this forum that would have choosen the blue over white and black if it had been available.

I know at least three people on this forum that would have choosen the blue over white and black if it had been available. I probably would have bought it in Vista blue and silver stripes. I don't like white stripes. I also told myself that I would never buy a black car because of the care it requires, but when I saw it in the showroom, I was struck by how awesome it looks. So in retrospect, black w/ silver stripes is the best color combination for a Mustang. In fact, if I had the money to buy a GT500, it would be also black with silver stripes. The Vista Blue on the GT 500 looks much better, and I'm sure the actual 2008 SGT will look better than these "photos". As far as color choice, I want one of each (black, blue, white, probably in that order)...

07SGT0057
I didn't like the idea of a 2008 SGT but if they are going to do it each year I think it would be kool if they did SGT in different colors. Like if customers want a black one, they get a 2007.. a blue one, they get a 2008.. a red one, they get a 2009.. that should still maintain exclusivity. Michael Morris
i just ordered 6 08 SGTs, now i dont know if Ford will build that many for me but it doesnt hurt to put them in the bank and then beg the lady to build them. you CANT get NAV in the 08 SGT, but you can get HID headlights. that seems to be the only diff i have seen so far. there is not a price on them yet, just wanted yall to know the order bank is open for them now. michael

AFBLUE
Well, it looks like I'm in the market for a 2008 Shelby GT coupe. Just cancelled my 08 Mustang GT order today. I was fine until I saw pix of that Blue Shelby GT convertible. I was asking AmyB for that color combo a year ago, and she delivered. Seeing that picture was giving me buyers remorse on a car I hadn't even gotten yet. I didn't want to hear myself say, "man I should gotten the shelby GT. What was I thinking?" Mark, I knew you couldn't stand by and not do this, now lets go ahead and change your avaitor and do the right thing (LOL) :D :D Do you know what the options you can get on the car are yet, I was going to ask Michael Morris as I saw a post where he said he placed six in his order bank. I think I'm going for a Vert myself talking with local dealer. I didn't like the color until I saw the vert pictures. GG
Webba
LOL Mark I have been wondering for weeks when you were going to give in and do the right thing. Yes it is more $$, and yes you can save some $$ and mod it yourself, but at the end of the day you wont be as happy as thing thing will make you. I pm's Michael so hopefully he will get to you shortly. I really hope this works out. You have been wanting this car for sooo long.
