ShelbyPilot Posted March 7, 2007 Report Share Posted March 7, 2007 The GT500 coupe weighs 3896 lbs, with 500 HP, a 7.79 lb/Hp. The Shelby GT weighs 3536 lbs, 360 pounds less. The Shelby GT stock is 319 Hp, 11.1 lb HP. With the supercharger 470 Hp (SAI rating), 7.52 lbs/Hp. However, the supercharger, brakes to slow it down and wheels to fit over the brakes will add a bit of weight to that. My weights are from Motortrend. They may be off a bit.
