I want to inform everybody that I will have my Shelby CS6 at the Mid Florida Mustang Club car show this Saturday the 24th at the Waterford Lakes Town center on the corner of 408 and North Alafaya trail in Orlando from 10:00am to 2:30pm. The car will be featured in the Peoples choice class so come on out and have a look at the quality of this kit. And don't forget to drop in a vote for me. Hint Hint.. jrav8er Posted February 26, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 26, 2007 Well Gang I entered my CS6 In the 20thAnnual Mid Florida Mustang Show this past weekend in Orlando Florida. If I would have gotten my ass out of bed earlier I wouldn't have been the LAST car to enter the show. In a field of 510 cars I was way out in left Field and found out that most of the voting ballots had already been turned in when I arrived Late. To my surprise I still ended up walking away with three awards. I ranked in the TOP 50 Mustangs, Top 30 Powered by ford and only one peoples choice award for excellence was handed out and I took that home as well. The trophy's were engraved glass Beer Mugs. Next time I enter a show I will be there to open the place and be first in line this way I get Maximum exposure to the voting pool. The winner of best in show was a boring untouched totally stock Silver Mustang GT. The Judged class only included cars from 1960 to 1999. 2000-2007 was a Popular vote peoples choice class only. Next show will be the MUSCLE MUSTANGS AND FAST FORDS MAGAZINE Fun Ford Weekend 17th annual Spring Break Shootout at the Orlando Speedworld Dragway. This is a 2 day event March 3 & 4 for more info on the show you can look at www.funfordevents.com So if you are vacationing in the FL area please look for me at the show and vote for the CS6 Hint Hint. jrav8er Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 27, 2007 congrats! Thank You. I made the cardboard pop up. then I hung the Shelby Banner I found on ebay. It worked well was light and folded away easily when the show was over.
