393Bird
I want to get a new V6 Mustang for my wife. The dealers here only have 2006 non GTs. and only giving $1,000 off msrp on them. Anyone know when the 2007 None GT models should be at the dealers? This will be a 3rd vehicle, and her run errands car, so no need for another high HP, high insurance car. Guest evilchris
They are at dealers in San Diego. Expect more in August.
RUFDRAFT
I just ordered an '07 GT for $300 over invoice. Barter with them, man. Tell them you "want to buy a V6 Today." Find the invoice - then tell them what you'll pay over that. Tell them you have 30 minutes to deal - then leave.
ratnacage
Tell them you "want to buy a V6 Today." The most powerful words you can ever say in a dealer's showroom is "I'm ready to buy now!" - especially after choosing the car you want. Those words change the dynamic completely. For the bonus multiplier, go there on the last day of the month, 30 minutes before closing time (works best at high volume stores).
393Bird
I picked her up a very nice 2007 Torch Red Convertable yesterday. It is a very nice car. It surprised me on how peppy the V6 is. The only thing about it I do not like, is the torque control system. As soon as it has a few miles on it, a SCT programer will take care of that. Thanks for the tips. I did get a great price. RUFDRAFT
Very cool. Post some pics when you can. Great color. What color is the roof?
