JimsGT Posted December 2, 2006 Report Share Posted December 2, 2006 I made a trip to Las Vegas in August, and had the pleasure of renting a GT-H, Shelby CSM No. 06H287 from McCarran Airport, Las Vegas on Aug 22-23rd, 2006. What a blast to drive! Went all over Vegas, including a trip to Lake Mead, and Red Rock Canyon. This experience really inspired me on becoming more of a Mustang fan, and in fact, was a major deciding factor for me to trade in my 2000 Corvette Hardtop (FRC) on an '06 Mustang GT! I truly loved renting this car, it was a great experience I'll remember forever! Hats off to Carroll Shelby, Shelby Automobiles, Ford, and Hertz for making this possible, again 40 years later! May the tradition continue! Hello to all Shelby fans from a former "Vette Guy"! :D I'll try an DL a pic or two. PS When I picked up the GTH that night when I flew in from New Jersey, a GTH at Hertz had an unfortunate accident, according to the employee at Hertz, it was in an accident by itself, suffered some bad front end damage.
