circleofsnakes
Would my car have to be a manual in order to to apply this to my Mustang? I'm looking into getting a V6, but all I can find are automatics. I thought i'd ask before I tried to get one.
pyrat
The 8.8-inch rear end from the Mustang GT will fit your V6 with the modification of the flange to support the V6 driveshaft. If you order from Hillbank it looks like this flange is installed. I'll know more when I do the installation, but Paleoc has reported the rear end does mate up to the V6 shaft. There are two gear ratios available in a stock 8.8-inch rear end. 3.31:1 and 3.55:1. The 3.31 ratio comes in the rear ends from automatic GTs and the 3.55 from the manual.
