Paleoc
Looking good bro. I see that you got the rear letters on. Are you still going to install the stripes? Absolutely. These are the pin type letters with the holes drilled in the trunk. So they just pull the letters off and poke them through the stripes.

Paleoc
How did they install the pinned letters? Used the front grill letter bar to locate and aligned the places where the holes had to be drilled.
Rogue24
Used the front grill letter bar to locate and aligned the places where the holes had to be drilled. What hardware did they use and how did they install them with it? Sorry for being a pain.
Paleoc
What hardware did they use and how did they install them with it? Sorry for being a pain. I'm not positive but I think they have little clips that you just push on the back of the pins after you mark and drill the holes in the trunk. Paleoc
Body almost done, just need to have the front grill and the parking lights reinstalled. Notice the GT500 strut tower brace installed. $48 retail from Ford part # 7R3Z-16A200-B. Ford calls it a bracket for some reason. It fits on all the S197 mustangs (V6, GT, GT500). Paleoc
Notice the GT500 strut tower brace installed. $48 retail from Ford part # 7R3Z-16A200-B. Ford calls it a bracket for some reason. It fits on all the S197 mustangs (V6, GT, GT500). Some clearance issues with the GT500 brace. The brace can be mounted with the bar towards the front of the engine or to the back. Due to the indent in the top of the CS6 hood and the under hood bracing, with the bar mounted forward it interferes with the hood. With the bar in the back it interferes with the coil pack. The builder wants to wait until the supercharger is installed before trying to refit the brace and develop a solution. More pictures
